Traditional Health plans
Traditional coverage is available from either the Market Place, i.e. Obamacare, These plans are available during Open Enrollment each year or during Special Enrollment Periods that can allow mid-year enrollment.
Short-term & Catastrophic Plans
Short term care is usually 1-3 month plans to help fill gaps in coverage. It is usually inexpensive and mostly covers major medical situations.
Catastrophic care is offered to help with just either hospitalization or Doctor care, and is usually low cost and designed to limit your out of pocket expenses in the event of a major medical need.
